    For Southern California Photographers

    The Planes of Fame Museum, Chino, California, is having its annual air show in May.

    For Southern California Photographers

    There are always lots of photo opportunities both static and in flight. I opt to spend the extra money for grandstand seating because it is elevated and IMO, it affords me a better viewpoint.

    Besides, an old guy like me needs a seat to rest my weary bones

    Excellent "just touched down" shot (see flaps). What we used to call a "wheel landing" as opposed to a "three pointer".

    Yes this is a P-40 variant. I am not sure whether this is an original two seat P-40 or if a single seat P-40 was retrofitted as a two seater...

    Good looking plane anyway...
