I spent the last two weeks at the Wyoming house doing a lot of nothing. Sleeping in until 7:00 AM (my usual wake-up time is 4:30 AM), playing with the dogs and visiting with my daughter and her husband. Last Saturday my daughter was in an event where the participants would hike to the top of a ski hill and then ski down. The top was at 10,000 feet.The resort, Antelope Butte was closed down a few years ago. The US Forest Service was to tear it down. A group of concerned citizens took it over and are bringing it back. It should be fully operational next year.

John, thanks. It was a well deserved rest. I have been working 60-70 hours per week and needed the break. I was going to head up to Fort Smith, Montana to do some fly fishing but never made it. Open water is hard to find this time of the year and the Bighorn, being a tailwater is usually open. There's always next time. I can't wait to get out there full time.

We drove back to Minnesota Friday and were greeted by a snowstorm from Sheridan Wyoming to Mitchell South Dakota. Back to the grind tomorrow.
