I am continuing to revisit some of my older shots and reprocessing them.
The one was taken in late 2011, while we were visiting Namibia. These are three girls from the Himba tribe who live near Epupa Falls, in Northern Namibia, along Kunene River which marks the border with Angola. There were no men or boys in the village at the time we visited; they were out grazing the cattle and goats.
The lighting conditions were not ideal, but with a fair bit of PP work, I'm not too unhappy with this image.
The picture was taken near mid-day and even with some flash fill, I was unable to get rid of the dappled light in the scene, cast by a tree that was just out of frame. I did a lot of dodging and burning on this shot.
