Hi,
I like them!
Radu Dinu
Ashwin,
All are very nice, nicely saturated colors.
I don't know if this photo is blurred or out of focus.
Inside a tent with terrible light I know. Have you used a tripod Aswin ?
How did you balanced your whites ? Wouldn't it have been better to shoot wider ? Or with a bolder angle taking the advantage of the sofas and creating a strong perspective ?
In fact all this depends on the schedule you have to take the shots. What is it at the far end at right ? A TV ? Turn it off please.
What was the purpose of this image ?
And this one ? What is it for ? The waiter at right shouldn't be there...
Bolder angles, Ashwin, bolder angles please !
I assume you could not move the persons from there but the crop is too tight as the - how shall I call this ? - "altar" - I can see it is not an altar but it is only a mean of expression - needs to breath, needs some air/room. It would also need some perspective correction and some change in the white balance
Very Indian Good
Now look at this Indian shop after tourists passed by.
A little bit too orange/yellow may be ?

Ashwin my picture is not done under a bold angle. People were going out and I had to hush. Good excuse hein ? I had no tripod and the camera was on a table. I was behind it Exposure ? 2.5 seconds at f/22 to get the lights with the stars. 24mm - 5D. Timer on.
Have I been to harsh ?
Hi Antonio,
Thank you for the comments. I don't consider them to be harsh.
Let me make it clear to you first, these photographs were not taken for commercial purpose, or on commercial assignment,
these are part of wedding coverage. and all taken with hand held camera without the use of Flash lights.
#1 Photograph shows resting place for guest, and TV for entertainment, and display of live coverage of wedding.
Lighting is arranged by Decorator, we can't remove them., and it is not practicle to switch of some lights. If
necessary, we can add our lights or use Flash
#2 photograph shows one section of Dinner serving table, it is very difficult to take such photographs without waiter or other persons,
due to lots of other activities on the ground.
#3 Decorative gate, with musician seating on top, playing traditional indian instruments, Marriage party and guest enters from this
gate
Yours is COMMERCIAL SHOOT. with plenty of lights, image is sharp. very good photograph
These are very nice, ashwin. The last one is very interesting, the use of space in the picture. But the ceiling looks tilted -- is that the case in real life, or do you need to straighten the picture a bit?
Hi, Ashwin! I am enjoying the glimpses into these gorgeous places. I love "decoration" myself! I don't know what to say to encourage you technically, just keep trying to think of how to capture the spirit of the place and the mood. I like the soft light and spaciousness of this last one. Anyway, I'm just really commenting because I didn't want to stay silent and never let you know that I'm glad you're posting.
