Wow and Hello!

Hello,
I've been a photographer forever and recently stumbled on this page while renewing my panorama education and upping my game. I bookmarked it and just now came back for a revisit and wow!
This is the single best basic technical photo resource I've even seen. So much good stuff in one place and SO clearly presented and illustrated.
I teach some basic photo workshops and otherwise work with a lot of fledgeling photographers. I'm going to recommend this site to everyone and hang out here in the forums a bit while I'm at it.

Welcome to CiC Doug. I've had a quick look at your site and you definitely have some very nice panos there. I dabble in them occasionally, but certainly not to the extent that you do.

Doug, welcome to CiC. This is a group of dedicated photographers of all skill levels. The great thing about CiC is that I have never noticed anyone of more developed skills talking down to those who are learning. It is also a place where an answer to many questions can be found garnered from the many (hundreds or perhaps even thousands) total years of photographic experience totalled by the members...

Thanks guys! Like I said, really excited to share this site with lots of young photographers.
No attitude here, just like to talk about photography. I try to make challenging pictures but I also like shooting my son playing baseball, and my corgi for fun.
I've been shooting panoramas forever too (with a 4x5 in the 80s) but recently invested n a Nodal Ninja and Autopano Giga to "up my game". The Nodal Ninja is as nice as any tool I've ever owned and Autopano is a really nice and polished app.
This represents the last month or so of learning those tools.

I like them all flattened out but the "VR" view has it's uses.
I'll be adding to that page often (at least on the weekends).
