I joined the RSPB at the end of last year and have been visiting some of their nearer reserves. On Sunday, it was Lochwinnoch's turn, but ... it was delightful early Spring weather and site was running a family day, resulting in there being more people than birds.
A pleasant 3km walk along the main trail yielded nothing worth clicking as did the 10 minute meander along the minor walk. However, just before the end of the path on the way back, this moorhen appeared from the reeds:
