Spent Sunday afternoon at Balquhidder, one of our favourite spots for a drive and a bite. This is one of Scotland's lesser known classic areas, for scenery (the hills/mountains, or "Braes" in Scots) and history - it is Rob Roy country.
I've never taken a sunny day "touristy" shot there, partly because I like the dark moody atmosphere that you often find, especially away from Summer season. I have chosen this shot for a few reasons: it fits the "Project 52" theme, it is moody, I processed it in DxO Photolab not my usual (and preferred) Capture One, and I was motivated by Donald's "I know colour" .
