By about 17:00 M'lady will be home after a week long trip. She will be bringing my new camera with her. B&H won't ship the Sony Alpha a68 by plane but we had a workmate coming in from America.
It is still an entry level camera but it seems to have some advantages over my a58. Not the least of which are live view tethered and better low light. With 20 % more pixels I may get a more detailed shot when I crop?

It has arrived and it certainly seems to fit my needs. I think I shall enjoy it for quite some time.

Yes, you should have a little more room for cropping, which is a help with macro work. Enjoy it!
