    I don't have a catchy title

I am my own worst critic. I loved the scene, but now that I see it here, I don't know.

Looks OK, Marie. Maybe, if possible, I would have liked to see just a fraction more at the bottom; but perhaps you had to exclude something?

I definitely prefer your second version. That looks good to me

I definitely prefer your first version, Marie. The undulating effect of the hill is not as effective in the second.

That being said, I understand your comment; both images seem to be missing something and I suspect it is that the shots looks truncated and incomplete.

Like the others before me, trees without feet.
I think it's a wonderful subject for a pano but you should have used a smaller focal length. You used a 70-200 at 200.
If it's in your neighbourhood, try it again. And maybe play with the idea to make a pano: more shots with an overlay of about 30%. Use Microsoft ICE to make the pano of them. It's free and good.

It's a nice scene, Marie. I prefer the second version. Trees rooted in the earth

Manfred, there was never any good place to crop it.
