Random Shots Part2

I spent a last week in Wyoming. Our usual route (Interstate 90) through South Dakota was closed due to a late snowstorm so we traveled across North Dakota and down through Montana to Sheridan.

My first attempt at night photography. The first shot is the legendary Mint Bar. I've never been in it.



The second is the Silver Spur. Best breakfasts in Sheridan.



The next shot is of a landscape rock in my yard. When the rocks were delivered last May we noticed a little sapling. It survived the winter and is going strong.

John, thanks. I've not been in the Mint Bar. I understand that after 10 pm it gets pretty rowdy. I always think of the Mickey Gilley tune, "Don't the girls all look prettier at closing time" every time I walk by there.

There is a lot of snowpack out here so runoff will be long. That will put a damper on my fishing. On my next visit I will visit my daughter in Montana. Hopefully there will be some water that is open.

It's always interesting to see what catches a person's eye. It is amazing where seeds will prosper and trees take root. But I have to say this is the first one I've ever seen that relocated after settling into a crack in a rock

Dan, this little tree caught my son's eye. Interestingly he has the worst eyesight in the family as his autoimmune disease has eye involvement.
