First shot with new flying camera

A few months ago I picked up a DJI Mavic Pro Platinum mostly for taking photos from places I can't reach on foot, like from 200' in the air. Finally winter has left us here so I made my maiden flight 2 days ago to test things out. Not much color here this time of year but still things look so different from the air.

First shot with the new flying camera.

There are people making magnificent images with those flying thingies.

Look forward to see more as your flying skills take us to new and exciting places.

I am also looking forward to seeing what you will be getting in the future

I am getting too old to change horses in mid-stream but, I would really like to try using a drone.

My son-in-law has a really nice drone that he uses in a unique manner. He flies the drone from his boat (rather large seagoing model) and uses the imagery it transmits to his Chromebook to search for schools of tuna...

Thanks DrJeans, I did run the photo through LR but I was careful not too oversaturate. Your version is much better and still not over saturated IMO.

    Very nice Dave,
I too have caught the drone bug, bought a DJI Spark a couple of weeks ago and I'm very impressed with the quality of video and still images it can put out.
Still have my learner plates on with it at the moment and using it more for video at the moment.
The Spark won't shoot in RAW but the jpeg quality is pretty good.
Autumn here now and lots of great colours around, so I will try to get away from work and get some images to post
