They dont look out of focus to me Brian but i could be wrong its a sigma 105mm F/2.8 macro lens

The focused areas are sharp but, of course, with such a shallow focus depth there will be areas which are slightly out of focus, unless multiple focus points are merged - which is difficult, often impossible, to achieve with real life subjects.

Very nice Les, though the shadows are a bit harsh in all 3, my favourite is nr2. YMMV.
