    Burrowing Owls in evening light

Burrowing Owls in evening lightBurrowing Owls in evening lightBurrowing Owls in evening light Hello every one hope alls well your way. I mentioned to NorthernFocus I would post a few owl photos. These were taken down in Cape Coral Florida. Not your typical sanding up and shooting down to the subject. I laid down in the grass to get more on their level. Unfortunately the first image has a small blade of grass obscuring your view. I really like the light and background, the reason for the shots..

    Martin

I like these a lot (even the first, blade of grass and all) and the second is certainly one I'd be proud to have in my catalogue.

Thanks Greg, I even got this guy trying to nap. I hoping to return soon as the babies have been out of the nest for several weeks. I missed my opportunity last year. Burrowing Owls in evening light

Those little guys are so cool looking. Not to mention the burrowing behavior. The low POV was worth the effort. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Dan, These guys are fun to shot. The live in the middle of busy towns and have adjusted well to their environment. Thanks for the comments, I enjoy this POV as well, hope to get back with them again soon.....
