At last the weather has been good enough to brush down the outdoor setting - and the storage shed. However, I spotted this tucked in right in a corner. I thought it was a moth, but the feathery detail made me not too sure.
Getting a half-ways decent image was very difficult. It was in heavy shadow, there was not enough space to get the lens with ring flash parallel to the bug body, and using a tripod for stacking was impossible. This was taken with the camera built-in flash from about 25cm away and at f/18 which is about as far as you can stop down the Tamron before image degradation cuts in.
C&C - and an ID - welcome.
