    Lake Beauvert and Pyramid mountain

    I posted this because it is a processing technique I have never run into, and maybe others would be interested. Basically you reverse the curve, raising the blacks to the max and dropping the whites to a minimum. I converted it to a black and white

    Looks like the old film negatives. Kinda different, but, it's always kinda cool to experiment and take it to the extremes sometimes.

    I agree about the preferences for the colour version.

    However I find it good to challenge my assumptions once in a while (except about maple glazed doughnuts: horrid things of no redeeming quality)

    Nice effort, while I like the original I like what the edits created (faces in the peak).

    Curves are definitely the most powerful tool that we have to work with. In many cases the other editing tools are little more than stripped down versions of the curves tool.
