I spent a couple of hours in the studio shooting April yesterday evening. I haven't had a chance to do a lot of editing, but this was one shot that struck me right away.
I used a white shower curtain liner and hung it from a background holder. I fired a studio flash with a large softbox at it (backlight) and had April pose in front of it. That gave me a lovely silhouette. I adjusted the light so that neither the background was blown out nor was April lost in crushed shadow detail.

Personal taste, but I prefer it cut off at or just below the waist.

Thanks Bill - that was my thought / plan when I took the shot, but I changed my mind when I started to process the image and saw how the body flow went.

"body flow" That's the descriptive term I was looking for. The thing that stands out to me is the way the silhouette arcs back and forth. The only suggestion I have is to get rid of that reflection on her lower back.
