    It looks like the focus point was forward of the eyes around the left arm or even the elbow...

    Richard, your observations, notes and remarks are important.
    I made two captures (print screens), imported them in CS magnifying to 100% and what I see is something like this.
    I do not know how to make it better.
    Now, what do you have to tell me, please ? Critiques are most welcome. Thank you !

    I agree that this focus is spot on. I don't know what made me think that the original posting was not in focus. It could have been my monitor perhaps

    I like the lighting, for the most part. The wrist appears to be burned out. Did you use a flash or strobe?

    No Phil, nothing was used. Just a large area of natural light behind me.
    The photo has been printed and is quite well. All areas are covered with ink.
