As a young man I used to enjoy trials enormously. I had an uncle who was a top-notch trialer and used to travel the country with him to trials.
At the weekend just past, I went up to my childhood home to enjoy and photograph the trial at which I used to help out at. It was the first time I was at the trial for more that 40 years. I had wanted to visit and photograph for quite a long time.
It was also the first serious use of a monopod that I purchased. As a landscape photographer, using the camera at 800ISO and shutter speeds of up to 1/4000th made me feel quite dizzy .
