I had to click on that title. And well worth the time. Brian, you are getting good at making the ordinary look extraordinary. I love this shot. The colors and lighting are an immediate attention getter. Then it is different enough to require a bit of thought to recognize just what it is. The composition helps make it obvious that it is a passage way to something and invites me in. I typically look for some bit of minutia to suggest improvement in your shots but find none here. Simply an excellent image. And as good as I thought it was immediately it got MUCH better when viewed large. Really well done.

Thanks. I have been exploring layers in C1 and it is beginning to pay off. One or two layers desaturated and then enhanced locally seems to make quite the difference for my subjects.

Very nice and interesting. To me there is an ambiguity which no one has commented on. When I first saw it, it looked like a strange animal with a yellow nose coming out at me. Now it is a yellow lined hole or a nose sticking out, depending on how I want to see it.

Images, memorable images, are a worthy quest (at least for me). For most of my life I have wandered from one interest to another. Maybe it's time to settle down. I'm beginning to think that if I was to go from 1x1 to 1.5 or 2x1 and worked on my skills I just might find myself in a very interesting place.
