I find it interesting that dogs appear to have many different expressions on their faces that we can relate to as human emotions.

Is that first one have vision problems in its right eye?

Sia has the beginnings of cataracts forming. The cataracts are not quite at the point in which surgery could be recommended...

Glad to see they will go on to have good lives.

I struggle with the ethical issues of deciding which species it is alright to eat and/or kill for sport. And that as an (ex)hunter and dedicated carnivore.

I will go out on a limb and suggest that the eye issue is lenticular sclerosis (benign) and not cataracts (a problem). A very big limb being that I am thousands of kilometers away
