If you are focus stacking, could you not have just blended in one of the shots where the goose was not in the scene? With 32 shots I would have thought at least one of them would have been "goose free".

Aha - just plain oversight... I once spent well over an hour photographing a scene and did not spot the empty coffee cup right in the middle of the shot until I got home and started looking at the files. Originally Posted by JBW
