    Anchored in juxtaposition

It was intriguing to see the details of the juxtaposition anchored yachts in the Herzlyia marina.

    Canon 60D, EF28-135, RAW, F13.0, 1/400, ISO100.
    Picture date: 19/06/2018.

Hello Ike, I'm afraid that this image does not work so well for me. I love harbours, boats, rigging, etc and have often tried to photograph similar harbour scenes.
I've come to the conclusion that they only work (for me), when there is a very clear single point of interest/focus that holds my attention, despite the distractions of the rigging, deck lines etc . (I was going to say 'anchors' the view.... )

The very dark diagonal jib sail definately attracts the eye, but it also disrupts a potential pattern of verticals and horizontals in the image, and takes the eye out of the image.

    Thanks for stepping by, James,
All I had in mind was to excite imagination with different lines and diagonals, ropes and fuselage contours. Will show some more "regular" marina picture in due time.
