Squirrels delight in doing things in odd ways. The fountain basin on our upper deck is easily available to them and sometimes they use it. But frequently the squirrels do what is pictured. Because of them, I've had to tape the cups to the supports. The fountain is quite old and needs replacing, but I am cheap (and lazy):

Old is good. Great capture. If I was to be picky to an extreme? it's too bad the base of the water jug got left out.
