Dog in the Fog
Australia, in the South is having quite a cold snap (for here) Very low fog today
I wanted to try for an image of the light towers at the Football ground, peeking up out of the fog..... when i got to the top of the hill... no light towers, no visibility at all really.
But Mali had fun!

Re: Dog in the Fog
The backs of people and animals rarely make for particularly interesting images. That is unfortunately the case here. Had you had Mali running toward you, now that would have made for a far more interesting shot.

I like it--running into the unknown!

Re: Dog in the Fog
I suspect a very slight crop from the bottom and right side would produce a more interesting scene and appear to give a little more space in front of the dog. Just a little, still retain part of the tree.

Thank you Geoff, I will try that, I know what you mean Manfred, but I kinda liked the looking into the gloom & what is she chasing feel.

Re: Dog in the Fog
I would crop 30mm off the bottom. Moving away from the viewer, I do like. Breaking the rules I like even more.
Cheers Ole

Re: Dog in the Fog
Nice shot, Kay, I find it evocative of our current weather. I agree with Ole about the crop. I think you could probably bring out more detail in Mali's coat as it is the main point of interest.

Re: Dog in the Fog
I like it! What it does for me is invoke curiosity as to where the pup is running to and I want to follow.
Nicely done.
