    Art of the Brick

I spent some time at the Canada Museum of Science & Technology yesterday. This was my first visit since it reopened; it had been closed for a few years for renovations. The highlight of the visit was American Lego Block artist Nathan Sawaya's special exhibition "The Art of the Brick".

These are all low light shots. Often I had to shoot wide open at ISO 25,600. While things look quiet and serene, the place was extremely busy. Lots of visitors especially children from local summer day camps that were bused in to the museum. Lots of time standing there with camera in hand waiting for times that for a second or two, no one was in the shot.

Nice work under difficult lighting, Manfred. It is amazing what people can do with Leggo. There is a bright white block in front of the swimmer's head that could be addressed.

Thanks for pointing that out. I was so busy cleaning up another part of the image, I totally missed it, even though it was staring me right in the face. Having another set of eyes is definitely a useful thing...
