Andre', nice photo.
Bruce
I like the 2nd and 3rd when viewed in lytebox, especially the third one. Very nice Andre.
how did you get this almost water color effect, it's gorgeous
Thank you Bruce, Greg and Brian.
I used soft back-lighting to take the pictures. As far as PP goes, I set the black and white points, adjusted the brightness and contrast to my liking and finally fine tuned the hue ans saturation of key colours. All done in Lightroom. I was too anxious to post and forgot to fix the backgrounds of #1 and #3
Here are the finished(for now) photos.
#4
#5
André, I love the colours and the texture of #2. It is a pity about the vase.
Cheers Ole
Thanks Ole. I find the bright green foliage even more disrupting than the vase. I should have taken care of those issues before releasing the shutter. I'm afraid that I would make things worst if I were to try to fix them with my limited PP skills. However, I am always opened to suggestions and will try almost anything.
André
That painterly effect particularly in #3; love it.
Nice work indeed, particularly this flower, quite the favourite of a famous Australian (Dame Edna)
1 and 3 are delightful
