Below the waterfall, Curio Bay, Catlins, South Island, NZ
Despite having been seriously into my passion of photography for eleven years now, this was my first attempt earlier this year at a slow shutter speed. Taken at 18mms; ISO100; 0.5sec; f10.

Nicely captured waterfall boulders and moss. I wonder about what appears to be a bucket or the end of a large pipe on the left hand side, especially as the branches lead down to it.

Thanks for your comments, everyone. I had not noticed that, Rufus, good spotting. I think now fixed. Additionally, I have had the suggestion of cropping from the top, which I think works well.

The top crop works well and concentrates on the foreground of the original image. It does lose some of the sense of scale associated with the waterfall further up, though.

I like this image very much.
I far prefer the original cropping because I think that the diagonal line of the stream (waterfall) across the image is very powerful. I also like that, although the water is blurred, it has not been turned into "cotton candy" like in so many long exposure shots of water...
Of course, we need to remove the evidence of man - the guilty bucket and pipe with content aware fill...
To be picky, I noticed something else I removed, the yellow leaf at the very bottom image left...
I also played a bit with NIK Viveza II
BTW: all that wonderful water... it makes a drought stricken Southern Californian jealous
