What Happens to L/R Presets if Deleted from L/R?
Hi, If you right click on a preset it gives the option to delete, When you use the option what happens to the preset? Is it just deleted from L/R? Thankyou, Russ.

Re: What Happens to L/R Presets if Deleted from L/R?
Forgive me Russell, I'm not a LR user,
Perhaps that's what prompts me to ask where else would you expect to find it?
If you mean "will the little text file that contains the data (in your LR Presets folder) get deleted from your HDD?" - yes, probably (at a guess).
Have you accidentally deleted one you now find you shouldn't have?
If so ....
I don't know whether LR instead moves it elsewhere, so it might be restored.
If it was deleted, perhaps your OS has moved it to the Recycle Bin and it could be recovered from there?
Have you got a back up?
I think we need to know what the problem is, or at least the context
Cheers,
Dave

Re: What Happens to L/R Presets if Deleted from L/R?
Dave, I downloaded a batch of free presets but had to install them all although I don't need them all as some are like HDR, Syco colours, Blast the light etc etc and I am only going to be useing the ones I need for flower images like Pastel for example, I need to (1) go through them one at a time and delete the not wanted or (2) try and save out the ones I want in an order of use and send them to a new folder then delete everything and re-import my saved folder once I delete them from L/R I still want to keep that new saved folder and worried if I delete them all will that also delete my new folder? Hope this makes sense. Russ.

just searched 'where are LR presets store'. Found this. You can check in the relevant location to see whether they are still there.
