    Andrew Haydon Park Sunsets

Some very mean looking clouds rolled in last night so I headed over to Andrew Haydon park to take a few photos. Unfortunately, most of the clouds dissipated as the sun was setting. I did not get there in time for the dramatic sky but I did manage to get a golden hour picture as the sun was setting and a blue hour one shortly after.

A couple of nice shots Andre.

In spite of the park not being all that far from home, I've never bothered to head out there to shoot sunsets.

I find that the second image is the stronger of the two as it features the trees as a centre of interest. The first one really doesn't have one. The large rock in the foreground is more of a distraction than anything else.

I was wondering about cropping a little from the bottom of the first image and going to a more panoramic size ratio to reduce the impact of that large rock; as Manfred said.

I like the bottom one best though think you could open the shadows more on both.

I do like #2 but as Chris mentioned open up the shadows a bit more. In my view just a touch not too much though.

Thank you all for your constructive comments.
I must admit that I personally prefer #1 as I find #2 rather lopsided but I will work on both shots. I might try to clone out the distracting lamppost in the middle of #1.
