    Interesting treatment, John. The colours in the smoke coming off the rear well remind me of the smell of burning rubber.

    Thanks all for the comment. The treatment was aimed at reducing the impact of a very messy BG but I quite liked the result in its own right. I must admit that I do wonder why someone would want to drive a car sideways around a bend to achieve nothing more that to wear out the tyres but it makes for an interesting photo op.

    Try it just once and you'll totally understand; it's really fun! It's a tad too gritty for me, though I do like the image because I understand what one has to do to eliminate nasty BG's.

    Nice capture and PP... I enjoy the grittiness of this image. IMO, it helps with the impact of the shot! The image looks like the illustration on the cover of a car racing program

    Although I generally like and use borders of one type or another, I am not sure if that border contributes to the image or not...
