Suburban whitetail mom and twins

I was about to pull the car into the garage last evening when mom and the twins came down the paved alley toward us. My wife threw carrots, I took shots. When the lady down the alley in whose backyard the trio frequently spend the night came along with her little dog, I got my best shots with my old reliable 40D+ EF-S 55-250mm. This is my favorite:

In the hills just west of Austin, until a couple of years ago when the city finally annexed us, so now it is southwest Austin. Barton Creek runs through our development.
