Re: Abandoned
Nice series. Out of gas? I can relate to that. Just how I feel most days. . #3 is my preference. I do like crumbling but maybe I , and I stress it is purely a personal opinion here, would have liked the framing of the building to have been zoomed in a bit closer. It just seems to be a bit too far away with too much background. Could I have framed the shot better? Of course not! Easy to be a smart A. after the event!

Re: Abandoned
Good subjects, Sharon, and I agree with all Ken's comments. I feel I want to be nearer to #1. The fuel station in #2 has a bit less of an abandoned look than the buildings in #1 and #3. So, with regard to the title, my preference is also for #3, and perhaps even more so with the dazzling sky toned down.
Cheers.

Re: Abandoned
Thought provoking given that these were once vibrant places occupied by working people. Nice series.

Re: Abandoned
I agree with cropping the first one tighter, lop off some of the left side of the frame. On the second image, if there is more foreground, I would increase that while lopping off a bit of the sky.
I love old dilapidated buildings. So much of the past is slowly being eaten up by the future..such is life, I guess.
