Umbrellas at a beachside cafe / restaurant. This is the only perspective possible, shot through a gap in the trees and shrubs. C&C welcome.

Nice framing. I like it.
George
strange.
Nice one.
I wonder (but, don't have strong feelings either way) if I might not like this image with the end of the metal roof straight across the frame. It seems a bit higher on the image right...
Good one cobber. Subtle effect applied, but wonder how it would look without a vignette?
Is it summer in TAS? or somewhere else. I like it, well seen. I would like to see it with a little bit less vignetting around the bottom edges.
P.S While I was typing Ken made a similar observation about the vignetting.
Thanks Ken and Paul. The vignette is a bit heavy than I usually apply and I did that because the sand is so bright I felt it was drawing attention away from the subject. I will lighten it up a little and reassess it.
Paul, while it is the middle of winter here, it is always warm enough for the beach in my part of the world. When are you migrating over the ditch?
My Son has nearly sorted out a block of land (at about $1000 per sqm!!!) and a house with flat design ($1750 per sqm) I can afford to live in a small box plus enough land for the car. We will probably give the go ahead next month when I visit and then will have to wait 8-10 months for it to be ready.
I suppose it is a bit hopeful that you know a painter who will pay for the privilege of painting it and only charging half price for the paint. Photographs of them working will be available at a discounted rate.
