The Canal Parade. I used to shoot this parade every year, when I was in Amsterdam. It starts around my corner. Well now it finishes. The boat I used to sit on was sold so I had to find another boat. New background finally.

I's not much more as framing on the forehand and using the machinegun function. And hoping you see the beginning in time.
The parade is a queue of boats. Many places the borders are used for houseboats, so it's difficult to see the parade itself.

Not only meant to show what's private and not.


Another use of those staples.


Your own balcony.


Build your own stage.


You've to do something to come there.

Second time I did shoot a kiss-in. The first time was organized by a famous Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf who got in trouble when he kissed his partner in front of a snack bar.
