Grasshopper: Who Is Tap Tap Tapping At Our Window: Sony Alpha a68 ~ Tamron 90mm 272E Macro Lens ~ ISO 100 ~ Shutter Speed 1.6s ~ F/16 ~ Natural Light ~ Exposure Compensation 0.0

Living in what was a tropical rain forest means that there is a never-ending stream of handsome models. This lady was in a truly awkward location but I’m happy with the results.

That grasshopper is certainly an unusual 'design' particularly those antennae.

Interactions between wildlife and human activity can certainly make interesting subjects.

Usually I see this species with the antennae held tightly together. Giving it a decidedly Unicornish look. It works that way for me.

She hung around for three days. For the first two day in places that were too awkward to get my tripod to. When i saw she had moved to the window I gave it a shot... so to speak.
