    The Assassin ~ Caught In The Shadows: Sony Alpha a68 ~ Tamron 90mm 272E Macro Lens ~ ISO 100 ~ Shutter Speed Four S. ~ F/16 ~ Natural Light ~ Exposure Compensation 0.0

    Every now and then I just get lucky. This was the now and then. Strolling in the garden/temple I looked down and saw this Assassin resting on the ground. Back to the house to get the camera. I was shooting head on until this fellow moved and I was able to get this slightly angled shot which brought the compound eyes into focus.

    Shot in our garden/temple somewhere in the Philippines.

    What I find fascinating is the information that this was a 4-second exposure. It stayed so still for that period that allowed you to get such sharpness around the head. Amazing.
