    I think the idea is great, but I do wonder if the light object at the left is taking up too little of the frame. The large area of black at the right-hand side does, I think, tend to dominate the frame.

    +1 to Donald's comments.

    This is exactly the same as my impression when I look at this image. Dodging the reflection of the boat in the water might be part of the solution, but the bottom right part of the corner will still remain relatively uninteresting.

    I am happy with the blacks but I as I said to Donald I can see there might be too much on the right hand side. I wouldn't dodge but maybe add a touch of brightness to the reflection. I will play with it a bit more. Thanks for commenting and giving me more to consider.

    If it were mine I'd probably use the spot healing tool here and there, only thing is you can go a bit overboard trying to perfect. Nice effort.

    Thanks John. If I had realised that leaf in the water was a leaf and not part of the reflection, I would have removed that before posting. Oh, well....
