    The Mask(s)

My daughter and I tried something along these lines a number of years ago and we spent a couple of hours in the studio shooting. The colours come through the use of gelled studio lights, rather than being "artificially" created in post-processing.

Around 20 layers so far and I expect I will do some more tuning or use some of the other shots I took to create a triptych of sorts. I don't think I'm done yet, but need to think about where I will take this shot.

I really enjoy seeing you play with ideas I would never think about!

    Manfred,
Gelled or not, I see neither the artistic intent nor a story here.

As my grand children would say "This is cool". I like that you let a hint of your technical inclinations show through by the sequence of the colours that you chose. I'm sure that your daughter will cherish it with her collection of masks.

None of my work shows artistic intent, as I am not an artist. At most they show creativity, imagination, technique and a bit of exploration of the medium.

Red-Green-Blue. Anger-Envy-Sorrow. A portrait of the moods of youth?

The connection is that the center gas mask is a NATO issue while the two outside ones are A Russian model. The RGB colours are a bit of a photographic play on colours.
