    String-Thing IV

Line, shadow, texture. The only problem was focusing on that tiny wire. And it is plastic coated which didn't help at all. It looked golden in the sunlight but when I opened the file on the computer I discovered that is actually rusty, and the rust is not evenly distributed so I converted to black and white. Apart from the "golden" wire the conversion made little difference to the colour of everything else. C&C welcome.

Well seen and I suspect, very saleable. The sort of thing that would happily grace the corridors of a major company IMHO, particularly if this is part of a set.

Nicely done. This is a very compelling minimalist photo.

Thank you for your generous comments, John. It is one of a set - because I cannot decide which I like best.

Yes, I was surprised when I opened the files on my computer. Still, it is the basics of photography - shadow and light, line and texture. Thanks for commenting, Grahame

Thank you for commenting, Dan. Minimalist, abstract, modernism/istic are my current obsessions. They don't move in the wind, and I don't have to get up early to catch the best light.
