    Spud

I don't know what possessed me to take a photo of a well past its prime potato awaiting transport to the compost pile. It just sat on the counter screaming "Take my photo, take my photo". So I did. Normally, I would not brag about this lest the men in the white coats came for me but, I sheepishly mentioned it to a very good friend who informed me that a certain Kevin Abosch had done that before and sold his photo for over $1,000,000.
I was sure that he was pulling my leg but decided to do a quick google search before reporting him to the white coat people. It turns out that he was right. Here is a link to the story.
So, if you like my spud photo, it is for sale at a base price of $2,000,000 because mine is at least twice as good as Kevin's.

Please feel free to suggest improvements. However, a reshoot is out of the question. Spud made it to the compost pile!

The only recommendation I could make would be the possible addition of a sprig of mint and a dollop of sour-cream.

Please remember to use +EC to compensate for all the white coats.

Very nice, spoilage does create some very animated patterns and crevices.

Actually, the colourful sprouts attracted my attention. I was considering a macro shot of the top one when Spud got a lift to the compost pile.

May as well - it is not going to make a great difference. Actually it looks a bit seedy as if it has had a night out on the tiles.
