However, it is worth noting that the JPEGs only offer 99% coverage, which makes pinpoint accurate framing impossible.
I find the statement in bold a little odd. While realizing that the A/R is not 1:1, that means that an image perfectly framed in the viewfinder will come out losing 0.00504 in the raw.

All I did was calculate 1/sqrt(0.99) which comes to 1.00504.

Are there photographers that gauge their framing closer than that? Is it that important?

It's not like a model would lose an ear, or half the Forth Bridge go missing ...

P.S. I might have got it backwards but my point remains, I hope.

Hasselblad’s market segment is the print medium, so this could in theory be a showstopper for some photographers who frame and print the full frame image. There is of course a work around where the photographer can make their own jpeg proofs from the raw data, but that will take a bit more time.

As is often the case with DPreview and other review sites, they seem to be unable to see the wood for the trees. I suspect this “issue” could be fixed with a firmware update in the future.

Well that's done it for me. They've lost at least one potential customer. Granted that potential was infinitesimally small but now it is zero

Why does anyone need a Hasselblad when they can take perfectly good images with their cell phones

I remember when the (unfortunately now defunct) Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California was one of the premier photo courses in the nation. They required the incoming student to have a Hasselblad and 150mm lens. When asked about this stringent requirement by a friend of mine who was replying, the reply was a smug (and incorrect) "Michaelangelo did not do the Last Supper with a paint by numbers set!" Well, my answer would have been, "I'm sure he didn't, it was Leonardo Da Vinci who was the artist"

I will follow your lead. Undoubtedly this will have a huge impact on their potential sales...

P.S. If I was given one with a selection of lenses unlike the impression you have given me, I would at least try it.
