1. Kerid Crater, SW Iceland - a 3,000 year old volcanic crater, the red colouration comes from the iron content:
2. Prinz Christian Sund, SE Greenland - a 740km channel with several twists that is only open 3 months per year. To transit it, the ship needs good weather conditions and be careful of iceberg conditions, particularly smaller ones that can damage the side thrusters as it progresses round the bends:
