Nice catch John. Two beautiful animals. Meeting the white one at night in the graveyard might be a bit interesting, particularly after a few drinks.
Hmmm. Interesting spot you've chosen to hang out with a camera
Just proves that photo oppotunities are everywhere. And more to the point, John knows when to grab an opportunity!Hmmm. Interesting spot you've chosen to hang out with a camera
Hi Sandy,
Typically I'll carry two or three lenses (usually the Nikon 70-300, 85, and when I'm feeling virulent the 24-70mm), for this particular trip I was only carrying the 200-500mm as I rented it for a few days and the 85mm. The majority of my excursions are shot with the D750 but I do have a D5200 for backup. I'll usually take both cameras when I don't want to switch lenses but lately I'll shoot during daylight hours with the larger focal length lens and switch to the faster lens for late evening shooting.
Hi John - Your response gives me ideas about what I ought to lug along on an outing. Since I've invested in a BlackRapid shoulder strap, carrying the camera with the 100-400 lens isn't nearly as much of a burden as it was with a neck strap. I need to consider what to take for a second lens. Or.... maybe I won't really need it for my beginning excursions.
Thank you for your reply.
