However, what really shocked me is that the several Sigma DN lenses 19mm, 30mm and 60mm (all f/2.8) which fit right on the camera without an adapter do not support the face detect and eye detect focusing as well as some other focusing modes of the Sony 6000-6500 series cameras.
I guess that if I wanted the full range of focusing modes available on a Sony mirrorless camera, I would need to go to native Sony lenses. I am not prepared to do this since I am heavily invested in Canon glass.
I am wondering about either of the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 lenses and a Sigma MC-11 adapter on a A7iii or A7Riii
