Hi
I spent time on this forum a few years ago, but then moved to a rural area where the internet was so slow it was difficult to upload or even load up hi res sites. We now have superfast broadband in the village so hopefully photo sites will once again be a possibility.
I had (still have) a Nikon D70s, but the sensor is mucky and the more I try to clean it the worse it gets. The autofocus has also stopped working, but that shouldn't be a major problem. I have been using a Canon Ixus compact and getting some satisfactory snapshots but few photographs. I have dug out our old Finepix 6500 bridge and fettled it up. I used to be impressed with it, but thought perhaps it would now be a bit obsolete and am thinking of a new bridge or a mirrorless. However, on reacquainting myself with the Fuji, it must have been a lot more advanced than I gave it credit for, or I was not using it to its full potential.
Anyway, looking forward to once again trying to improve compositions , technical knowledge and producing some half decent photographic creations. Also looking at other people's work and learning from it.
