    Pyramids

No prizes for guessing what it is. I was hoping to make the negative space an equal element of the composition. C&C welcome.

I love it. My only whinge is the ragged horizontal line in the white part. I guess there is not much that can be done about that.

Another well seen and well executed abstract Greg. I often curse those cloudless blue skies as being a negative in my image making. In this shot, it is an important element in the abstraction.

Really takes some work to figure out what it is. But once you see the angles, wow- what a shot!

    Good going!

Yes, it bugs me a bit too, Ole. I could clone it out but then where would you stop cloning out imperfections in building surfaces? I think of it like street photography and accept it for what it is. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks Manfred. I curse the blue skies too. They're a nuisance in black and white, just a boring shade of grey unless you make them black but that doesn't always suit the image.

Thanks Zen. Glad you though the effort was worth the result.

    Another good one!

I wonder if another crop would work better, perhaps a square frame up to the corner on the right and the corner at the bottom part of the image.

Thank you for commenting, Miltos. I tried various crops / frames including the one you suggest. That is certainly a strong composition. I decided on this one though because I wanted the sky to be a significant element in the frame.
