Harrow and birds

Tractor with harrow making trails in his land and birds eating what's coming up, or should go down.
In front of the tractor the birds are waiting in the old trail. When the tractors passes the birds do some steps forwards to the new trail. Some want a better position and do this flying.

I think that they are eating what is being turned up. Field operations will bring subterranean insects and worms to the surface, providing a smorgasbord for the gulls. Gulls are providing a service here.
