    Best buds-2

Taken a couple of weeks ago when two of our Grand-children stayed with us for a night. Evan, who is five was born with the animal-loving gene that courses through our family starting with my mother.
Early in the morning while one of our cats was sitting by the window eyeing the birds in the yard, Evan sat down beside him, and I grabbed this shot. Converted to black and white in Photoshop.

Nice story. Didn't need the "..animal loving..." explanation. It's all there in the image.

I like this image because I can relate to automatically touching a animal (in my case it would be one of my dogs) when one is near me. Sometimes, I don't even realize that I am doing it. It is just instinctive behavior.

    Richard,
    Thanks for commenting.
I assumed you'd like this shot.
As for the instinctive behavior, I know what you mean. We currently have one kitty and are baby-sitting our Son and daughter-in-law's three while they have renovations done, and I often suddenly find myself without realizing it, petting one or more of the herd in my lap or on my chest, or just beside me as I'm on the computer, reading or doing whatever.
    One of life's little pleasures.

Sometime animal can be good friend than human, and it is a nice shot.

    Thanks Vincent.
and I agree. A pet's love is unconditional, unlike that of somehumans.
