This is the same street performer as in my previous posting of Living Statues; Living Statues - Green Lady on Stilts

In this series she wandered down the sunny side of the street, which in some ways is a nice contrast to the other set. These images have been heavily reworked to reduce the effect of the harsh sunlight. The hard shadows are a significant element in the composition.

Good captures Manfred. It is not every day you encounter someone on stilts and I wonder if you might have made more of the opportunity by getting in a bit closer and shooting upwards to show that she was up in the air, so to speak.

That is in effect what I did with image #3. I was trying to find a good balance between the costume and the performer's head and face. Too wide an angle focal length resulted in an uninteresting image; too much yellow material and too little of the artist.
