    Not the central one, but I did lift some of the ones in shadow.

    Nice composition. These look like some kind of Mycena (there are lots). Putting on my pedant's hat, these are clusters of mushrooms, troops would be separated at the base but stil fairly close.

    Good shot Tom and while I like the composition, if mine, I might crop about 5-10% width off each side.

    I was just wondering what the correct term was, now I discover there are apparently two, depending upon how close together the stems are.

    Great composition, Tom. I like the delicate balance. Would tend to mute the bottom four, so that the ones above remain the centre of attention.

    Also, now that I have belatedly given it my attention, Dave's suggestion, has very good merit - though with some caution at the bottom.
